Lino Printing
Lino printing is a form of relief printmaking where the negative space is carved into a master block before being inked and transferred onto paper or material.
It is a fun and accessible form of art and my passion lies within my meticulous carving and printing process.
My artworks vary in size however are generally considered to be large for lino prints and each piece becomes a real labour of love throughout the whole process; from the initial design, to the intricate carving and finally the printing stage. I create monochromatic and multi coloured prints using the reduction method and from these prints I have begun transferring my designs digitally onto tea towels and tote bags which are available in my online store alongside the original prints.
If you would like to see more about my processes and print work, please take a look at my Instagram page @rebeccareillyart where I regularly share updates.
