Blue Tiger commission

'From seeing some of Rebecca's early work, she had a talent for painting animals, but not always in their natural colours. Since working at Colchester Zoo in the 70's, I was lucky to be next to the Siberian Tigers cage, so loved their strength and beauty. Blue has always been my favourite colour, so I asked if Rebecca would paint a blue tiger. This is now the centre piece of my house, getting many compliments, as the eyes are so life like, they follow you round the room. Bein able to see the tiger painting with regular updates on Facebook, adds to the pleasure, as I feel I watched it come alive.'

' I have admired Rebecca's work from seeing all her Instagram posts and was especially impressed with her life like pet portraits. So I asked her to paint my Goldendoodle as a present for my daughter's special birthday. Rebecca did the most incredible job and both my daughter and I were not only totally delighted with the painting (a great surprise for my daughter-she said it was her best birthday present ever!) but we were blown away by the likeness and the details involved. Everything about it was truly amazing- from the texture of his furry coat, to the sparkle in his eyes, the tongue and his classic 'smile' - she totally 'got him'. The detail put into this painting is extraordinary and it was all done from a photo. I have had paintings and drawings down of some of my other dogs in the past but this is way better and I wouldn't go to anyone else now to have a pet portrait done.

In fact I have commissioned Rebecca to paint my other daughters cat for her and I can't wait to see how that turns out. Please see the attached photos of the painting next to the photo she used and also my very happy daughter with the painting and model himself!

So to conclude, I can't recommend Rebecca more highly - please speak to her if you wish to have a pet portrait done or any sort of commission. She is totally brilliant.'
